Project Overview

In 2005, I introduced seamless edge-blending projection technology to Sri Lanka, creating immersive large-scale visuals for events and product launches at a time when LED walls were not yet available in the local market.

Key Capabilities & Innovation

• Utilized Dataton WATCHOUT software—an industry-leading tool for synchronized multi-display playback—to orchestrate multiple projectors for a single, continuous image

• Applied edge-blending techniques to merge overlapping projections, resulting in a smooth, unified visual panorama—effectively hiding seams and enhancing image continuity

• Delivered high-impact visuals for key events, including product launches and media presentations, filling the visual gap long before LED display technology was accessible.

• Delivered a game-changing alternative to large LED walls, offering unprecedented scale and clarity for Sri Lankan events.

• This was among the earliest deployments of projection mapping and edge-blending in Sri Lanka, demonstrating technical leadership in stage and event AV.

• Leveraged WATCHOUT’s features—such as flexibility in display resolution, multi-layered timelines, and advanced synchronization—to deliver production-grade visuals
